Five Rivers

Five Rivers

Every glittering surface has a shadow—and every shadow has a price.

Five Rivers is an adult visual novel set in an affluent coastal community where champagne brunches and marble docks sit alongside quiet corruption, old money, and secrets that don’t stay buried.

Your story

You get drunk, you pass out in a bush... you are trying to forget that you are stuck living with your dad and his girlfriend, counting down the last days of freedom before you are shoved into a  job you never wanted—mowing the estates of Five Rivers to fund college . What starts as grunt work becomes a front-row seat to how the other half lives… and what they do when no one’s watching.

What you’ll do

• Run the lawn route — complete yards in a hands-on mowing minigame and get paid for performance
• Manage the grind — cash, schedules, pressure, and the push toward independence
• Navigate relationships — choices with clients and locals that can stay professional, turn friendly, or go much further
• Explore the town — wealthy homes, hidden tension, and story branches that reward attention (and risk)
• Live the home front — awkward family dynamics, evening routines, and plot that follows you off the clock

However, all is not what it seems... something insidious hides in the shadows. If you are lucky, you will find it. If not... it will find you.
